    There are not many blessed wells around this parish, and the only one I know of is about a mile and a half from the village. The well has no special name, and sometimes people with sore eyes go to it.
    When a person goes to this blessed well he has no rounds to do, but usuall take a drink of the water. When they are about to leave, they leave something behind them on the wall of
