    The Churn 18-3-'38
    The churn is a very necessary article for farmers where there is no Creamerys there are But very little of the old make of churns in the district and they are called dash -churns they consist of a small barrel and a dash with a handle about five feet long with a round piece of wood at the end of it about two feet in circumference with five holes in it so as to let the Cream come through it and there is a cover also with it,and there is a round hole in the center of it so as to let the dash come through ,and overhead the hole their is a cup which fits down over the handle of the dash so as to keep
