    On this day it is customary for the people to wear the shamrock in honour of St Patrick.
    Shrove:- Is the season when a great number of marriages take place.
    Shrove Tuesday:- Is the last Tuesday in Shrove.Shrove Tuesday Night is a great night for the making of pan-cakes.
    Lent:- is the season for fasting and prayer.
