  1. There are no tailors living in this district at present, about three years ago the local tailor died, he was Mr. Michael Clarke, and he lived in the cottage where Matt Cullen of Togher now lives.
He made clothes at his own home, but occassionally went to houses and worked when required, his implements were scissors, needles, thimbles, and a smoothing iron.
About sixty years ago flax was woven into linen by a local weaver named Peter McQuillan who lived in Farthadreen; and it was dyed by Michael Traynor of Togher; these garments were very durable.
Socks are knitted locally by Miss Daly in the townland of Beagh with a knitting machine, she has a spinning wheel also and spins the wool for to knit the socks.
