  1. In the morning:
I thank thee sacred heart of Jesus
For rising me safely from my bed,
and guard me from all danger for the day
    Lighting the fire:
O Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews,
Preserve me from a sudden and a
    unprepared death.
    At Midday:
    Infinite Jesus meek and mild
Look on me a little child,
Put thy gracious hand on me
and Make me what I ought to be
    Going to Bed:
Here I lie down to sleep
I give my soul to god to keep
and if I die before I wake
I pray to god my soul to keep.
There are four corners to my bed
    Four angels here to spread
St. Matthew, Mark Luke and John
God Bless this bed that I lie on
If any danger some near me
O Blessed Virgin pray for me.
