  1. Once upon a time and a very good time it was, when pigs were swine and turkeys chewed tobacco, there dwelt in this locality a well-to-do farmer named Big Jack Feehely. This night Big Jack gave a danec to a "scutching" party. All the yound ladies and gentlemen attended the dance. The prettiest young lady that attended the dance was Katie Monaghan. She was admired by a nice young man with red hair.
    Times rolled on and this young man with the red hair died. After a considerable time he returned to Katie Monaghan. He told her hed a a large sum of money for her. "It has been left in my charge and it now lies two feet deept under the earth behind Liss Church. I am leaving
