  1. In years gone passed there were some fields around the district with paths in them called Mass-paths. The priests in those days were forbidden to say Mass in the Churches to say Mass out in fields or on hillsides. A lot of places around this county where priests had to say Mass. There is one place in Ballypracus called the Mass corner.
    The reason its called the Mass corner is because in "Penal Times" there was Mass said in it. There is a sgeach in that corner which can not be cut down. There are often
