For fun and to pass the time the neighbours tell stories. This is one I heard my uncle telling. He himself heard his father telling it in years gone by. In Drime there is a hill called Kidd's Hill. There is supposed to be a pot of gold hidden in it some place.
Where it is hidden a white horse minds it.
One moolight night some man came to the hill with a shovel and pick. He also brought a little lamp to show him light. When he got there he lighted the lamp and began to dig. When he was digging for a little while the white horse came along and blew out the lamp.
No other person dug for it ever after.
