  1. Long ago there lived two priests in this big house in a lonely lane. It was in the time of Cromwells invasion of Drogheda. One night the two priests were going home when two men attacked them. They got away all right but they were attacked the next night and were caught. They were put to death. So that is how the lane got its name. The two priests are supposed to seen walking up the
