  1. When a man and woman are returning home after marriages, and funerals the old people think it very unlucky to meet a red haired woman. They also think it very unlucky to get married the last Monday in Shrove as it is called the "cross day of the year".
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth,
and Wednesday the best day of all,
    Thursday for crosses,
    Friday for losses,
And Saturday no luck at all.
If two persons of the same ,get, family get married the same year the old people say it is very unlucky.
