- There are two Blessed Wells in the parish of Kilmihil namely St. Michael’s Well and St. Senan’s Well. St. Michael Well is at the eastern side of the old Chirch in Kilmihil. It was founded by a woman named Mary Anne O Gorman of Tullycrine. She suffered from an incureable disease and she dreamt three nights that if she went to the eastern side of the old Church and pull three or four reeds that a well would spring up and the water would cure her.
