  1. I am living in the townland of Cahercanivan and it is in the parish of Kilmihil and in the Barony of Clonderalaw There are twenty houses in Cahercanivan and there are three ruins of old houses there O'Leary is the commonest surname. There are nine old people getting the pension namely,
    Margaret Mc. Donald,
    Mick Gorman,
    Dan and Mrs Kelly,
    Pady and Mrs Rhyan,
    Mick and John Donellan,
    Mrs Murphy,
    All these people have some Irish. Cahercanivan got its name from the fort and the white
