  1. We have a good many festivals throughout the year and something happened on each of these.
    Some of the festivals are, Christmas Day, St. Brigid's Day, Easter, St. Patrick's Day, Hallowe'en, Shrove Night, and a good many others. There is a saying about Christmas that if anyone died during the twelve days of Christmas that they would go to heaven. It is an old custom to make a little cross on St. Brigid's night. There is a harp worn St. Patrick's Day. Hallowe'en is on Novembers eve and small boys and girls have beans and a
