  1. Once there lived a man named Michael King who was a famous walker. He lived in the townland of Clonina. One day he walked to the races of Ballycoree. He left home early in the morning and he was at home again before sunset in the evening. The people would not believe the man when he said he was at the races but in order to prove to them he was there he had a shoe which one of the race-horses lost which he got. The address of this man was.
