    Long ago there were no doctors in the country so when the people got sick they had to cure themselves. They had a cure for every pain and disease. For a boil the cure was to put soap and sugar to it. or a poultice of linseed meal. For a person who would have warts, the cure was to steal a piece of meat and bury it under the dung, and according as the meat would be rotting the warts would be going. Another cure was to rub water which you would find on a stone without looking for it. For a headache the
