  1. Did you ever see a duck swimming on water and a cat sitting on its tail? (The cat's tail).
As long as 9 men as tall as 9 men; 9 men couldn't stand it on its end & I could carry it on my back? A Tether.
How many wells would make a river? One if it was large enough.
Wee Willy Waddle, she sits in the puddle with a white petticoat & a green gown? A Rush.
I ran till I got it & when I got it I sat down to look for it & I couldn't find it so I rose & brought it home with me. A thorn in your foot.
As round as an apple, as plump as a ball, as big as the market - house, steeple & all? The moon.
What goes up the ladder with its head down? A nail in a man's boot.
Whitie & blackie went over the hill
Blackie came back & whitie lay still -
    Duck laying an egg.
How many cows' tails would reach to the moon?
One if it was long enough.
What is it we love more than life; hate more than death - the poor man has it - the rich man wants it & when we die we all take it with us? Nothing.
