  1. Song

Come all you jolly people and listen to my sing,

Come all you jolly people and listen to my song,
A line or two I will sing for you and I wont detain you long.
I went into the market to a place they called you stand
And for six long months I hired with Brady from Killan
When I got home next morning they were glad to see me
They fried me eggs and bacon and did shake hands with me
Saying "you are welcome to us Jonny
And you are with a decent man
We have roads to make and drains to fill
    Lo and lime to scatter
If you dont be a good servant and do the best you can
I greatly fear you won't be here said Brady of Killan.
It was then I heard sentence my sorrow I did sob,
At five o'clock next morning I heard him shout "get up."
