  1. A travelling man named P. Higgins and a travelling woman named Mary Judge used to come to Guckians house and they used to weave blankets and a cloth called Drugged. This was used to make women's clothes. They used to do this for the price of tobacco, and they used to stay for a week at a time.
    There was a man named Tom Thompson who was a blind piano tuner and he used to go to Horan's house to tune their piano. He used to guide himself by the walls with a thick stick. He used to tune pianoes for two pence a day.
