    5. There once a man and his name was Martin Connelly. he lives in Glinsk about three miles from Ballymoe. Co. Galway. He had a very good shot. One day he went out with his gun, and fourteen snipe rose up. He put up the gun and shot the fourteen snipe. Before he had time to pick up the snipe he saw a rabbit and a good way off he saw a pheasant. He put up his gun and shot the both with one shot. He turned around and he heard the whistling of wild - geese in the distance. He lay down on his back. When the geese were passing over he filled one barrel of the gun and shot the five geese. That was twenty one fowl with three shots.
