  1. Marriage Customs
    I In the olden days people usually got married in the evening. The Bride and groom always walked to the Church. On coming home the wedding cake was broken over their heads, as this was considered lucky.
    II People considered it a sign of good luck, if on going to the Church the Bride first met a man. It was considered unlucky if she met a woman.
    III Sheep were considered lucky if on the road, and if looking over a fence it was unlucky.

    IV When a man wanted to marry a girl, he would go to her house with another man and have with him
