    Long ago in Ireland the people were great athletes They were far stronger and better built men than the men nowadays. The people long ago were great walkers, runners, jumpers, and weight throwers and dancers. Walkers long ago were very plentiful in Ireland.
    One day I heard two old people say that somebody belonging to them walked from Glasha about 23 miles to Cork and back again. He set out at sometime in the morning and was back again before
