  1. At the remote end of a deep, long glen was a neat dwelling. This two roomed little house was erected close to the foot of one of the hills which surrounded the glen. From clefts in a rock in the side of the hill and quite close to the cottage, a little stream of pure water burst forth and wound its way right through the glen out to the open space and of to sea
