  1. There lived in Ireland a king and Queen that had only one child which was a boy and they loved him dearly. There lived near by a wicked fairy and she made up her mind to steal the child she went to the palace one night and said to the Queen that she would take away the child the next night if by then she did not know her name. The fairy then went away and left the parents in great sorrow. The King arose at once and sent his men all over the country
