Folk LoreI heard my grandfather telling a story about Lough Graney one time. There was frost for three weeks and Lough Graney was frozen over. The frostw as followed by a heavy fall of snow which gave Lough Graney the appearance of a white field.
There was a man crossing it one day on horseback, and at the end of his journey he met a man and he told him that he crossed a lovely white field, and that there was no fences nor ditches in it. Then the(continues on next page)
