    1st March 1938.
    Folklore.# The roofs of the houses long ago were thatched with scraws and twigs. The fire was in the middle of the floor and a hole in in the roof for a chimney The majority of the houses ,had but one door and the window and a half door was usually attached to the big one.
    A very common thing in the houses long ago was a camp-beds and settle -beds was also common it is very few of those beds you would see now. The houses long ago
