  1. Since olden times there are still some remains of gold in this district.
    It is said that there is a shoe of gold hid in the Glen in Martin Moloney's farm. it is said it was put there by an old Jew who came to this district some year ago, and had no friends to will it to.
    There is a good sum of money supposed to be in it. It is also said their is a lump of gold in John Moloney's farm and a black hare is minding it, this hare was often hunted
