    Folklore
    Long ago here in Ireland great athletic feats were accomplished at sports and hurlings.
    One instance was at Flagmount Co. Clare at a hurling, a boy of about 20 years put the ball a distance of a couple hundred yards and this was known afterwards as the long puck in the Lawn and there was also a song composed about it.
    Just to quote the few lines of it still remembered
