  1. The games we children play at the present day are principally hide and seek, blind mans buff, Kitty lick the dish, high gates, colours and corners.
    All these games are mostly played by girls. Boys play handball, jumping, weight throwing and running and on rainey day they play card games, namely 45 25 Old maid, poor house, old batchlor, and many others of that kind.
