   A woman named Mrs. Sweetnam, a native of Knuc, was carrying a basket of butter one day to a shop owned by Mr. Ferguson of Ardravina. On her way she met a woman and she delayed talking to her.
   The woman took off the cloth of the butter and tasted some of it. The next week Mrs Sweetnam could not make any butter although she remained churning for the whole day.
   Whatever way she attempted to make butter she failed and this state of affairs went on for a year. One cold night a small "travelling woman" visited this house. She wore a hooded cloak and was about four feet high. After awhile she said "Ye can make no butter here for a long time". They said that was true. Then she said, "I will tell ye how to get it back and the person that has it is not far away. Get two branches of the quicken-berry tree and when you have the cream
