"Churns"
We have a churn at home .it is a new make of churn.The name of it is Lister churn.t is made in the shape of a barrel and set on a stand.it is worked by twisting a handle.The cover is screwed to it ,and in the middle of it there is a little round bit of glass ,and when the churn is made this glass is pure clear.
The old churns were made in the shape of a barrel and they were worked by shaking the churn staff up and down.The churn -staff was a long bit of timber in the cover of the churn and the cover was let drop down over the churn staff.
We make the churn twice a week in Summer and(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
