Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There was a holy well in the Island (which is now submerged) where St Lua's oratory stood before it was removed to the Catholic Church grounds. This well was called after St Lua. Many cures were obtained by people who visited it on Lady Day.
    There is another famous well called St Senan's situated in Doonass. This well is remarkable for cures. People visit the well on Lady Day. Its water is drunk and also used for immersion. At this well crutches and sticks can be seen hanging on a tree which were left by the people who came there crippled were cured and went away without them.
