    There used to be different kinds of bread baked by the people in my district long ago, and they were all very wholesome.
    In the Winter time, they used to bake bread called oat-meal bread out of oat-meal. They used to bake it on a bread iron in front of the a very strong fire, and they would bake it very hard. Then, they would put butter on the bread and eat it.
    They used to make potato bread very often. They made it out if (bread) potoatoes and oat-meal.
    Another kind of bread they used to make was boxty bread, and it was made principally of grated potatoes.
