Ar an leathanach seo
- There are different species of farm animals on our farm.
We have two cows, and a calf, one pony, and two goats. The names of the cows are Polly and Lilley, and the name of the calf is Billy. The name of the pony is Polly. We call the goats by the names of Fanny and Blackey.
When we are driving the cows we say "theh," and we say "sucky" when we are calling the calf.
The cowhouse is called the byre. The cows are tied by the neck with chains in the byre. The chains are bought in a shop.
Blessed palm is hung up in the byre to bring good luck.
We have about sixty head of fowl, and they have a house of their own, with roosts on which they sleep and rest.
