  1. The names of our fields are the Big field. The Big field is so called because it is the largest field on the farm. The Wee field is so called because it is the smallest field on the farm.
    The Square field is so called because it is Square.
    The Long field got its name because it is Long and narrow.
    The Big meadow is so called because it is big.
    The Well meadow is so called because there is a well in it.
    Tom's meadow and Tom's hill is so called because a man named Tom McEntyre owned them.
    The Glen field is so called because there is a glen in it.
