    Buadhallán
    This plant or the rag-weed as it is sometimes called grows nowhere except in rich soils. It too extracts manure and rich sap from the soil.

    Caisearbhán
    The Caisearbhán or succory(?) is a plant that spreads quickly and when growing in plot (?) lands if not pulled out gets ahead of the crop and smothers it. Of course it is good food for any animal, even human beings use it in many ways. A full and accurate account of its medicinal qualities is given elsewhere in this book.

    Briosclán
    This weed or the Skirrit as it is called sometimes is also harmful to the crops. It has serrated silver leaves with long tendrils of coats stretching on top of the earth and any of those vine-like branches starts a new root. The root grows down
