  2. A family of Gipsies who travell this district is the Wilsons. They travel in carts drawn by asses. They have two goats and a greyhound. They accept potatoes, oatmeal, old clothes and boots, as well as other articles. They pitch their tent along the side of the road. Wilson himself is a fairly stout black, wicked looking man. He shaves about once a month and his black dirty beard adds to his bad appearance.
