    basketmakers, they make them out of sally rods.
    Long ago people used to eat their potatoes out of these baskets.
    Pikes, spears and swords were made in the forges long ago. These were used for fighting.
    Most of the women who lived long ago spun all their own woollen and linen threads at home with a spinning-wheel.
    Mr. McFadden, Castleraghan was a famous thatcher, he used to travel many miles to thatch for the people.
    Churn-makers are called "coopers" in this district. Mr. John Reilly, Ballyjamesduff is a "cooper".
