There is a forge in the townland of Daraugh about four miles from Ballyconnell Co. Cavan. This forge is on the side of the road and it is near Corturlan School.
The name of the Blacksmith is Mr O' Reilly and he is supposed to be a vey strong man.
He makes shoes for horses and donkeys and he repairs all kinds of farm implements.
The Blacksmith has a great many tools in the forge such as a hammer, a sledge, a rash and a bellows. There is only one fireplace in the forge and coal is burned in it. There is a great big iron anvil in the forge and the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
