  1. There was a house in Ballykilmurry and pieces of turf were alwasy been thrown down the chimney. The people used to stay on watch at night but nobody could be seen. The man of the house told the landlord about it, but the landlord only laughed at him. At last the landlord came himself to see if it were true. When he came in he was hit on the head with a turf. He then got men to look down the chimney but nobody could be seen so the man left the house. Until the day the house fell turf continued to fall, but still no heap gathered.
