- The people in my district have ways of celebrating certain feasts. the most important feasts they keep are Saint Patrick's day, Christmas day, Novembers Eve, Saint Stephen's day.
On Saint Patrick's day all the catholics throughout Ireland go to Mass and they all wear a little piece of shamrock or a harp in honour of Saint Patrick, who brought us the true faith. On Christmas day they go to Mass also and most of them go to two or three Masses as there are several Masses in different churches that day. On November's Eve they dance and have music and they play all sorts of tricks. The bríghid Ógs go around to the houses and play music and dance. The people and give them money and when the night is over they divide the money between them.- Bailitheoir
