    Warts.
    The old people say that if you have warts, to pick Dandelion and squeeze the white juice from the stem on the warts they will wither away, or if you put your fasting spittle on every morning for three mornings it will cure them.
    Whooping Cough.
    If a child has the whooping cough pass it under a donkey and it will get all right. Another cure for whooping cough is to cut a turnip and scoop it out and put brown sugar in it and leave it over night, when the child coughs give it a spoonful of the sugar thus formed and it will soften the cough.
    Old people believe that if you have a cough sugar and butter mixed is very good.
    Bleeding.
    If the nose is bleeding put a key down down the person's back and it will stop the nose from bleeding.
