  2. Trawn Water

    The Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday before the feast of the Ascension are called Rogation days. These are days of special prayer to God for the necessities of the people such as pardon for sins and preservation of the fruits of the earth.
    During these days trawn water is shaken in the fields. This is done to prevent the trawn a tiny worm from eating
