    Food used on - (a) "Easter Sunday...

    (a) Easter Sunday. It is a custom to eat as many eggs as you are able on Easter Sunday. "The children are always comparing to see who will eat the most" The old people used to always give children "Clúdóg". (Present of eggs for Easter)
    (b) "Christmas Eve. Long ago the people used to make a Boxty Loaf and put currants and raisins in it for Christmas Eve.
    (c) "Shrove Tuesday. People in district make pancakes for Tea on Shrove Tuesday. Its generally known as Pancake night"
    (d) Good Friday. Oaten meal dumplings boiled in water or gruel.
    (e) Hallow Eve. Colcannon eaten for supper.
