  1. There was a woman one time and no matter when she'd churn she could never get butter on the milk. She sent for the priest and he told her to shut the door and put an iron under the churn, and begin to churn, and that whoever was taking the butter would have to come to the house. She did that and before she was long churning a knock came to the door. The woman opened it. It was a neighbour was at it. This neighbour asked for a lot of things but they gave her nothing. She went home then and the priest followed her, and her house was full of butter and crocks of cream.
