  1. There was a man one time who noticed that his cows used to be milked every morning. He watched and he saw a woman milking them. When he went near her, she turned herself into a hare and ran away. The man set a dog at her. She ran to her own house. The dog bit her when she was going in on the window. The man went in after her and the woman was in bed and she all blood. The house was full of crocks of milk although the woman had no cows of her own.
