  1. A woman was washing pails in 'Caldara' well one day. When she went to the well the next day it was moved and is in a different place ever since.

  2. There was a man named Woods who lived at Streete (Co Westmeath)
The fairies took him away twice and the third time they came for him they told him not to curse until they'd leave him back. They put him riding a white calf and they had horses. They came to a big river, the horses jumped across and the calf jumped too. The man let a curse when he saw the calf jumping so well. He was flung into the river and had to walk home.
