   There are twenty-eight people living in Pallas at present.
   My father and mother speak some Irish. If my father wanted his boots he would say, "Give me them," brógs". If the hens were in harm he would say, "hí-cearc", and if the goat was in harm he would say, " hí-gabair. My mother often says, "there is "Aán-a-mála" in that house.
   The following people in my district are over seventy years of age:-
   Christopher Harte,
   Pallas,
   Tyrrellspass.
   Edward Harte, same address.
   Miss Mary Harte, same address.
   Each of them are good at telling stories.
   There is a river which goes along between the land of Pallas and Pallas bog. There is a hill on our farm called Cnoc Hill. There are no lakes in Pallas. No one knows how Pallas got its name.
