- Horses
When people clip horses up half-way it is called tracchigh. Sometimes when people want to call the horses they say "Phout" and when they are starting them they say "Hob-off"
Hens
When people are calling the hens they say "Chuck-Chuck," and when they are hunting them they say "He-cearc." When they are setting hens they like to set them on a Friday because it is counted a lucky day. They like to put thirteen eggs down because odd numbers are counted lucky. When they are setting the nest sometimes they put a piece of iron belonging to a plough under it to bring luck.
