    It was a custom for the bride and bridegroom to go on horseback and all invited would, go on the same way. After the marriage all would race to the bride's house to see who would be home first to the bottle and whoever would be home first would treat the bride and bridegroom out of it. It was a custom that the bride would not go to her own home for a month. Then there would be a dance in the bride's home. About twelve o'clock at night the straw boys would go in. The straw boys were boys that used to dress up in old clothes. All the people would leave the floor and the straw boys would dance but they used not take any money.
