  2. How he secured his home and land.
    About one hundred and fifty years ago Mr. Dobbin died in Lowtown House. All his principal men were around trying to get some of the spoils. One of them got a paper and wrote down "I will Matt Farrell a house and one acre of land" put the paper in the dead man's mouth and then took it out. Some time after when the law began Matt went to the court and wore he saw them
